Great for preventing up and down motion, usable with other tighteners
If there is a tightener that prevents both side to side and up and down motion its pretty well hidden out there in the world of sales and marketing. This one works great for preventing up and down motion, but leaves a little play for side to side. So I used it along with an "anti rattle locking hitch pin" which is supposed to stop all movement as well, but really only works to prevent side to side motion. The two of them together work great and importantly one doesn't get in the way of the other. They are both very easy to install. I used the same adjustable wrench for both and just took the wrench along with me to remove them once I reached my destination. However, if you can't find the locking hitch pin which I happened to find at Advance Auto, this hitch tightener prevents the ...
