Sports/Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

Sports or Deep Tissue Massage is a form of manual manipulation of the soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons), geared specifically towards helping people who participate in regular physical activity. Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in the soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. Sports massage can be done, prior to and after exercise, and can enhance performance, aid recovery and also help prevent injury. An initial assessment is used to create a specially informed massage therapy plan that will meet each individual specific wellness needs.
