Ponte Tresa is a premium cold hardy sweet berry fig with a nice jammy texture. Flavors vary but can be described as a complex berry with an almost grape taste. It has moderate seed crunch and a wonderful flavor. Yellow-green skin with a pinkish red flesh and a tight eye.
We are a small family nursery in Florida licensed to ship to ALL US states (but we don’t currently ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Arizona). We take pictures of each individual tree so that you can see the exact tree you will receive. We have been collecting and growing over 100 different varieties for sale this 2024 season. If you don't see what you are looking for, feel free to reach out!
We ship orders as fast as we can reasonably get them out. The average is one to two business days to process the order and then two to seven days of shipping, depending on how far it has to ship. Although figs are very resilient, they may shed some leaves and figs as a response to being in a box. This is normal and they should bounce back without any issues. We highly recommend you make arrangements on your end to ensure your fig tree is not left sitting in the shipping box in the hot sun.
Thank you & feel free to ask me any questions. I love talking figs!

Disclaimers:
As with every grower of figs, all of our figs should be assumed to have been exposed in some way to FMV Fig Mosaic Virus. Younger figs will often show more severe symptoms, but most of the time many of them grow out of this.
Please understand we do our best to correct shipping delays and lost packages, but those issues are out of our control. Please take pictures immediately of packaging and the plant if it arrives damaged so we can file a claim and process you a refund.
If the listing says there is only one left, the Etsy listing is referring to this exact plant only and does not indicate inventory of that variety. If you would like to know the inventory level we have to sell for any variety, send a message and we will be glad to let you know.
Our listing descriptions come from many different sources in the fig community and are meant to be helpful, but are not absolute facts. It's a starting point and we recommend you continue to do your own research for each variety you are considering.
In an effort to produce the best quality figs, true to variety, we are always careful to source our cuttings and trees from well known, reputable sellers. If you have any questions about the specific source of a plant you are receiving or variety confirmation, please send a message and we will let you know.
Please be aware, rust is a common occurrence in Florida due to our humidity and rain. If you see brown spots on leaves, that is most likely what it is. This does not seem to affect the plants as we and many others in the fig community have plenty of delicious figs on our trees every year and they still grow vigorously despite it.
