While serving in the USAF the owner started his first part-time business in the 1980's as "The Palmetto Sutler" attending civil war re-enactments and selling his wares, which included handmade wood boxes and camp benches and other accouterments. The Palmetto Sutler Trading Company
In the late 1980's the owner changed the name to "Sarge's Surplus" after acquiring an FFL (federal firearms license) and started attending gun shows, buying and selling firearms. Sarge's Surplus Camouflage Clothing and Gear
Then in 1999 he changed the name again to "Airmilitaire Tactical Clothing & Gear" when he launched his first web site. Airmilitaire incorporated in 2007 and began using the doing business as (DBA) name "AIRCORPCAMO" with a new re-launched web site, www.aircorpcamo.com
In 2012 still operating part-time, the owner opened a shop in the Barnyard Flea Market in Greer, SC and operated there for 6 years outgrowing it and with no room to grow, & Officially retired from the USAF in 2017, relocated the business to the current location with a full time store in June 2018. Owner has been doing business for over 20 years.
