SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

I’ve been a patient here for a few years and I still receive excellent treatment and care. I wanted to write this review in particular to express how much I appreciate Jill, one of the dental team members-for throughly explaining things I had questions to. You can honestly see that she loves the work she does and she is very knowledgeable & personable. I normally HATE going to the dentist because I feel rushed and because of that, I usually forget to ask things that are needed for my dental care. I really hope she gets the attention she deserves because.. WOW what a difference she made me feel today.

I went to get my wisdom teeth extracted with anesthesia (all 4 were impacted deep). The surgery took (no exaggeration) less than 16 min. It took me over a month to fully recover. I dry socketed in every spot, and I was not sewn up with glue or stitched. Months later when I felt comfortable touching that spot I realized they broke or accidentally drilled into both of my molars (next to where the wisdom teeth were) on each side of my upper jaw. I will now have to get my molars pulled elsewhere. Very unfortunate for me.

Highly recommend! The entire staff at Floss Magnolia is exceptional! Literally each and every person I have had contact with for more than 1 year now is so professional and friendly. They are always on time and I never have to wait. Cayla is a such a wiz with the insurance benefits! And so kind and patient. All the dental hygienists are so great. And Joe who makes the crowns is a real artist when making them and cares a lot. And then the dentists themselves are fantastic! Dr. Tran and Dr. Costillo are amazing. You will be in good hands with them. This is the best dental office I have ever found. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!

Before going in, I spoke with the receptionist indicating I would need a separate anesthesiologist due to severe medical issues. I went in and filled out 30 minutes of paperwork and then got seated in the chair. A tech came in and said let’s go for X-rays. I had X-rays just weeks ago and they didn’t bother asking. Then she tried to take my BP, and I informed her due to health conditions, I cannot have BP taken. My appointment was with Dr. Tran, but his wife comes in and tells me they can’t see me without taking BP. She never bothered asking why or what health issues I have. Very unprofessional to have an appointment with a dentist that never even comes in to speak to you. Additionally, I told them the situation over the phone and that I would need things done differently. She did not indicate any issues. Obviously many doctors and dentists don’t think outside the box but if he took 5 minutes to ask, he would have understood. Never in my life have I been to a dentist and treated like this.

Went in for my initial new patient visit and teeth cleaning and was very impressed. Dr. Costillo and her staff spent an extraordinary amount of time with me and each and everyone in the office was a personable,, caring, and knowledgeable professional. They have lots of high tech equipment and look to be a one stop place for my dental care. My dental issues, that need to be addressed, were thoroughly explained along with showing me as to how to best take advantage of my dental insurance coverage. For the first time in my 73 years I have an understanding of my dental insurance.
