Jan Wilson is the principal managing broker at Garden Park Realty and a R.E.A.L. Coach and owner of Garden Park FIRM. Jan is one of the most dedicated and purposeful real estate brokers in the nation. Jan earned a Bachelor´s Finance degree (summa cum laude) and graduated 1st in her graduating class at the University of North Texas. She is a member of the Pacific West Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Jan has worked in various facets of the real estate and finance industry since the 1980s, participating in hundreds of real estate transactions. Jan’s experience as a mortgage broker has also proven beneficial in successfully completing real estate transactions. She has taken the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® training offered by the California Association of Realtors to address the unique concerns faced by seniors in the real estate market; and has taken the in-depth Certified Probate Course, taught by a 40+ year veteran in the real estate probate sales market. Jan's clients also benefit from her years with a Big-5 CPA firm as an integrated financial and technology risk management consultant.
Jan’s in-depth training includes foundational real estate courses such as Real Estate Practice, Economics, Financing, Property Management, Legal Aspects, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Investments, Exchanges, Taxation, and Creative Financing. In addition, Jan sets aside time each year to participate in continuing education courses to keep abreast of real estate trends.
