Karen Wrenn

Karen is a retired special educator with 35 years of teaching students with special needs in Maryland. After retirement, Karen started her own professional organizing business in Maryland which targeted the greater DC / Baltimore areas, then relocated to North Carolina 4 years ago.

Karen has over 5 years of experience with organizing various rooms in a client’s home enhancing her natural ability to declutter a variety of spaces and manage areas in people’s homes. Her specialty is helping those clients with ADHD needs. She enjoys helping others by empowering them with the ability to be organized in their homes and personal life. She credits her organizational skills to her successful teaching career. By providing the client with certain techniques, she has helped clients with time management and home management needs to improve their quality of life.

Karen and Gary, her husband of over 35 years have 2 grown married children, one living in Maryland and the other living in California with her first grandchild born in 2018. Her hobbies include theatre, Zumba, spending time with family and friends, pickleball and entertaining. She is a member of NAPO and North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce.

Rusty Snyder

Co-Owner, VP of Marketing and Operations

Rusty Snyder has been working directly with customers either in a sales or customer service basis for over 30 years. In additional he has a rich history in sales and marketing, which includes organizational management. Over those years he has learned and promoted the importance of satisfying the needs of his clients and customers. His goal is always to listen, to provide services that will help meet their goals and objectives, and ultimately exceed their expectations. As a partner in Brunswick Organizing Solutions, Rusty focuses on marketing, operations and finance functions and offers attention to detail on every project the company undertakes.

Rusty and his wife Doreen moved full-time to Brunswick County from Chicago in 2016 with their two rescue labs and rescue cat. They are active in the community by giving back their time and other resources to make Brunswick County a great place to live.

Cathy Cherry

Cathy is a retired Educator of 30 years with a Minor in Language Arts and Art. Having retired to the Wilmington area in 2015, she began searching for an outlet that would utilize her career driven organizational and creative skills. Joining Brunswick Organizing Solutions has provided her just such an opportunity.

Mary Zagara

Professional Organizer Certification

Mary grew up in Long Branch, New Jersey, then moved to Bricktown, NJ with her beloved husband of 29 years. They settled in Leland, NC in 2013. She attended Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey where she studied Business Management and was in the workforce for 44 years. Thus, she developed strong organizational skills in a variety of work settings, honing leadership and interpersonal skills along the way.

Mary’s credits include Owner of Meticulous Mary’s Cleaning & Organizing Service for 14 years in New Jersey & North Carolina. Customer Service Representative at Community Surgical, Administrator for Health Network America, Member Services and Client Service Consultant for Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Prudential Insurance Company.

Joeleen Dodge

Professional Organizer Certification

Originally from upstate New York, Joeleen spent 25 years working for a major defense contractor while raising her family and was later relocated to Northern Virginia deciding that this was the time she would pursue a career in interior design (based upon her college degree) along with staging and organizing by starting her own business.   Organizing, staging and design are very similar. The skills required are the same and along with her attention to detail and functionality of “the space” she shows her passion for this work.  Being a “people person” Joeleen loves working with people and all the while being sensitive to a client’s  personal space, their home and their belongings.

Joeleen and her husband moved to the Leland area of North Carolina in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, pattern drafting along with hand built custom pottery and gardening.

Chrissy Sanford

Professional Organizer Certification

Chrissy Sanford has been working with Brunswick Organizing Solutions for over a year.  She strives to help our clients recognize their individual needs and strengths, and set realistic, attainable goals.  She is committed to making them successful in organizing and managing their possessions and lives.

She practiced as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in various settings including school-based health centers, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, the Duke Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department, and was an Associate Clinical Instructor at the Duke University School of Nursing.

She served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Army Nurse Corps and Civil Affairs.  She is a Combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  She attributes her organizational skills, mental focus, and people skills to her professional and military training.  She retired as a Colonel after 20 years of service.
