              Pros

It was a small and flexible company. I was treated like I had the right to put my family first and it was respected.

              Cons

It was slow progress and I was competing for commission with and outside sales person who was much more established in the area.

Ok...I am a retiree but my pension is a little short to live comfortably. I have been working a contract job since November and it's due to end on May 17th. I have 1, possibly 2 interviews for permanent jobs next Friday. I know that one said that they use the STAR method. I worked 32 years at the job I retired from and I have had 2 interviews in my whole life! The 32 years I worked are a big blur. I'm nervous about being asked about things that I did that I'm proud of, etc.

What are they looking for when asking this? I don’t have a lot of job/interview experience. What do I say if this has never happened to me before? “Give an example of a time when you were able to take an unsatisfied customer and turn him into a satisfied one.”

I got a job offer from a company recently and want to make sure it’s not a scam. The recruiters I spoke with all had an Indian accent (not sure if that is important). Long story short I had 1 video interview and they said they would put me through to the next round of interviews. 2 days later I got a call from the recruiter and I got the job offer. During onboarding I noticed they want copies of bank statements. Is this normal or is it a scam? I don’t remember ever having to send bank statements
