As an agent, I am keenly attuned to the power and beauty of good design, the result of my 20+ year career as a curator, critic, and publisher in the visual arts. I am an expert in using spaces to tell stories and draw out the possibilities for how one might live well in a new home.
From my start at MoMA in New York and the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, TX, through my years in storied Bay Area institutions such as the Headlands Center for the Arts, architecture has been both a personal passion and a professional area of focus. The Bay Area is unique in its history of styles that pay homage to the region’s geography and cultures, and I love sharing the details that give people new perspectives on familiar places.
I am known for asking good questions that bring important information to light. My clients experience my unfailing enthusiasm, inquisitive nature, heightened attention to detail, adherence to excellence in service, and bountiful patience. They also benefit from my desire to be constantly abreast of market conditions and current trends so they can have the confidence of educated decisions.
My husband and I have lived in the Bay Area for almost two decades. Our dog Oliver is a loyal customer of the local shops in our Rockridge neighborhood; he knows where all the good dog treats are to be found. During free moments you can find me kayaking near Jack London, hiking amongst the redwoods in Joaquin Miller, hunting for mid-century treasures in vintage shops, or attending a performance at an artist-run gallery downtown. I am forever trying to find room on my bookshelves for one more sci-fi novel or exhibition catalogue.
I remain a dedicated supporter of local artists and in creating opportunities for their visions to be realized. There is nowhere comparable to the Bay Area for its combination of culture, beauty, and unending distinctive pleasures waiting to be discovered.
