Friendly local cafe

Lovely friendly welcome and several options from the baking display were D/F or vegan including fruit scone with d/f spread and jam, brownie and a jaffa (chocolate orange) large cake. They had veggie and vegan breakfast items and standard cafe fare such as baked potatoes and paninis. Choice of D/F hot drinks, I had oat latte.

Pros: Friendly positive approach, Choice of well labeled options

Cons: Toilet up steep stairs with further seating

Nice English cafe, dog friendly

There are quite a few vegan options including pies, sausage baps and cakes.

The staff are great and very friendly and will adapt dishes if they can. They stop cooking at three pm but have tea and cakes till 4pm.

Pros: Dog friendly , Great staff, Variety of options

Cons: Closed on a Wednesday
