About Us

Haoyue Sun, L.Ac, DTCM, Dipl.OM

Dr. Haoyue Sun received her Bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese and Integrative Medicine from the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine. She finished her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. She successfully completed and received her Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the prestigious Five Branches University. 

Dr. Sun is experienced in utilizing different treatment methods and had treated patients with different disorders, such as pain-related issues, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, facial paralysis, gynecology disorders, infertility (IUI, IVF support), hypertension, weight control, eating disorder, sleep disorder, etc. She has successfully helped multiple patients with their pregnancies. She is certified by the National Board (NCCAOM) and licensed by Board of Medicine to practice as an Acupuncturist in Virginia and Maryland. 

On her day off, she enjoys spending time with her dogs or going on short trips to other states for sightseeing. She is a big foodie and goes out of her way to visit places to experience different types of food.

Hye Sung Kim, L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl.Ac, CEO

Hye Sung Kim is in charge of the operation and management of the clinics. She is certified by the National Board (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Board of Medicine in states of Virginia and Maryland. She studied culinary art and business management. Obtained her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM). Currently, obtaining doctorate degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. 

Hye is experienced in utilizing different techniques to treat disorders such as emotional/mental health, different types of pain-related issues, male/female health, and digestive disorders. She is experienced in using multiple modalities such as body work, Tui-na, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, etc. along with acupuncture to help alleviate patient's symptoms. 

Hye loves good food! In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for the family and go out to try different restaurants and cuisine. Her philosophy in life is to follow the golden rule: "And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them" -Luke 6:31

Colombia Medical Mission

Eun Woo Lee, L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl. Ac, RN BSN

Eun Woo Lee received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Yonsei University in South Korea, and is currently registered as RN in the United States. She obtained her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. She is certified by the National Board (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice as an Acupuncturist in the states of Virginia and Maryland. She has years of experience in treating pain-related disorders, as well as emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and stress. She believes that true and complete healing comes from balancing one's Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social and Spiritual well-being.  

Yearly, she volunteers to go on Medical Mission trips to treat patients in developing regions of many countries including Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Kenya, Tanzania, and Bangladesh. She is deeply devoted to serving her community by helping individuals restore health and joy. Eun Woo also has a special love for animals. In her spare time, she enjoys going on a walk with her golden retriever Joey. 

Bahar Holzemer, L.Ac, MSA, Dipl.Ac

Bahar Holzemer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo and Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and Licensed in state of Virginia and Maryland. Bahar passionately applies Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to successfully helping patients overcome a variety of ailments. Bahar is experienced in treating chronic pain, orthopedics, migraines, addiction, weight loss, oncology support, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

Currently Bahar is enrolled in Memorial Sloan Kettig Cancer Center Oncology support program for Acupuncturist and she is also studying with Jeffrey Yuen in Eastern studies of oncology support.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing methods in the world and is the most common piece of TCM. Acupuncture restores, replenishes and supports the human body to fight disease, prevent illnesses and infuses balance to the body.

Bahar’s integrated approach focuses on helping people achieve their own wellness goals combining acupuncture with e-stim, cupping, tui-na, (Chinese Medical Massage) gua sha, moxibustion, dietary recommendations and exercise remedies.

In her free time Bahar spending time with family, cooking, travel, studying mandarin, and attend her son’s college baseball games (Go Hokies!).

Chae Y. Jeon, L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl. Ac

Chae is a nationally licensed (NCCAOM) and certified by the Board of Medicine in Virginia. Her practice is based on an integrative, whole-body approach to healing, providing effectvie, personalized therapy.

 

She is excellent and compassionate in treating her patients by tuning into their specific imbalance using the traditional acupuncture, nutrition & lifestyle counseling to guide them to become the best version of themselves. The ultimate goal is to decrease inflammation and to improve metabolism, striving for wellness. Clinical specialty are well-rounded: pain management, gastrointestinal health, women’s health (hormone and period regulation, fertility, pregnancy support, post-partum), emotion (stress, anxiety, depression), metabolism (weight loss, insomnia, edema, headache, skincare), simply improving the overall quality of life.

 

Chae acquired the Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and Bachelor’s in Public Health at James Madison University. Combining her expertise in western & eastern medicine, she completed an internship with Dr. Choo and Dr. Hon Lee who was a former U.S marine combat and now a world-class TCM practitioner, where Chae worked with patients who experienced severe chronic pain, infertility, and side-effects of chemotherapy, etc.

 

When not seeing patients, Chae loves spending time with family and friends. She is a mom of her little daughter. She also enjoys doing yoga, absorbing nature, traveling, and serving the community!
