It’s time to reconnect to yourself.

Sometimes life sucks. It’s normal to struggle at times. We all have bad days.

But sometimes those bad days turn into bad weeks, bad months, even bad years. And all that struggling and pain, day after day, can make us feel like this is just life. This is just the way it is.

I’m here to tell you this: IT’S NOT.

You don’t have to live like this. More importantly, you don’t deserve to live like this. You deserve to feel safety and joy and connection with yourself and others. You deserve a life filled with hope and creativity. Your body and mind were meant to be your refuge- a place that nurtures all the gifts you were meant to share.

When we experience pain and trauma, sometimes that trauma gets stored in our body. Our body and mind do not know how to make sense of the event, so the trauma stays with us, waiting for the moment it can be released. Until that happens, our body and mind become places that scare us. They no longer feel like they belong to us. We feel alone, afraid, and disconnected.

If you find yourself trying to cope by avoiding your feelings, ruminating or overthinking, avoiding relationships, trying to protect yourself by blowing up at people, or any other attempt to feel less pain, even for a moment, you are not alone.

You were born connected to your body- it was a safe space- it was home. It would be an honor to help you come home to yourself once more.
