SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Highway Patrol says four vehicles were involved in a crash on Kansas Highway 96 Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. on Kansas Highway 96, just west of 183rd Street West. That is between the towns of Maize and Mt. Hope.

The KHP says three of the vehicles were headed west on K-96. A semi was in the front, followed by two pickups. Troopers say the pickup in the back rear-ended the other pickup, which rear-ended the semi’s trailer.

The KHP says the pickup in the back then left the road, crossed the median, and hit an oncoming semi.

Some lanes of traffic were closed as first responders checked the conditions of the victims. Sedgwick County dispatchers say all the injuries are believed to be minor.

Amanda Stricker shared a video of what the crash scene looked like around 11:05 a.m. and then again as she had to travel the road again about an hour later.
