  • Chef David Everett

    OWNER

    Chef David Everett launched his latest enterprise in June of 2020. While opening a restaurant during a pandemic certainly posed challenges, creating a restaurant that included outdoor dining delivered just what our community needed at the right time.

    Chef Everett was intent on bringing an authentic, intimate modern Italian style of dining to Downtown Williamsburg for the last couple years. He wanted to create a venue to present hand-made pasta and lighter fare that features both the flavors and dishes that exemplify today’s focus on simple and fresh ingredients. He also built a stylish full-service bar to provide hand crafted cocktails with an Italian twist.

  • Heather DeFreitas

    PASTRY CHEF

    Heather trained to make pastries under Chef Marcel DeSaulniers and has been making fantastic desserts in the same kitchen for more than 17 years.

    She has gone from making endless “Death by Chocolate” cakes in those days to fully stocking the pastry counters of the Blackbird Bakery and making the amazing desserts for La Piazza.

    GENERAL MANAGER

    Ann has been working for Chef Everett over 14 years and worked for The Trellis Restaurant for more than a decade prior to that.

    Living and working in Williamsburg for over 25 years, she is thrilled to see more and more folks enjoying Duke of Gloucester Street and to be bringing such great, flavorful Italian food and drink to the neighborhood she knows so well.

    Eve joined our management team after years of outstanding customer service both behind the bar and at the table. (She’s great with crying babies!)

    Eve loves the outdoors you name it: camping, hiking, biking, maybe even cliff diving?! We are thrilled to have her on our management team.

  • Lamont Jones

    MANAGER

    Lamont is a local native and a father of four, so he knows how to multi-task. He also likes outdoor activities – and we will certainly be keeping him busy – both outdoors and indoors!

    Lamont loves the hospitality industry and even got a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management!
