It's crawfish season! Last Friday, we gathered for our annual Crawfish Boil and Cornhole tournament. The weather was perfect, the food delicious, and the fellowship awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

Now in delivery, The Duke at Metro Center. The Duke is Nashville's newest apartment community providing residents luxury and convenience. With amenities including a Club Room with Lounge Seating, Saltwater pool and heated spa, Wellness Room, Sky Lounge and Pet Spa...residents will enjoy a relaxed lifestyle with the ease of access to downtown. Getting to the finish line was no small task and we are grateful for the outstanding team that made this project happen. The site was filled with challenges that demanded creative solutions. He brings a wealth of construction experience, including commercial tenant improvements, residential construction, and commercial concrete. Progress Update from Terrell, Texas We're excited to share a sneak peek of the construction site at The Southerly, our latest project in the rapidly growing Crossroads at Terrell. As our second multifamily endeavor in the area, we're proud to continue our commitment to longtime development partners, Ventures Development Group. The development includes 300 units in four 3-story and two 4-story structures with elevators. Residents will enjoy the spacious clubhouse and resort style outdoor amenities. Thanks to the hard work and effort by our dynamic team, The Southerly continues to make great strides. Stay tuned as this project nears completion!

Jobsite Progress: Populus at Waterside What an impressive site located in the thriving suburbs of Chattanooga, Tennessee! The community will provide a total of 344 units for rent conveniently located off Gunbarrel Road. Populus at Waterside features 13 buildings in total, offering a mix of carriage homes, garden style apartments, and 4-story buildings with elevators. Luxury amenities will include a resort-style pool, state-of the art fitness center, and a gated entry, to name a few. Construction has moved along at an impressive rate, with the first two of 13 buildings completed and turned to owners. Property management staff is currently on-site and residents have begun moving in. This month we highlight Project Estimator Vincent Zocco! For nearly seven years, Vince has been a driving force within CEI, starting as an intern in 2017. After graduating from MTSU with a degree in Commercial Construction Management, he began his career with CEI as Project Engineer. He quickly found his way to Estimating (his true passion), where he's been an invaluable asset ever since. From catching crucial details in bids to his expanding leadership within the team, Vince showcases dedication to precision and teamwork and has been instrumental in securing projects, making CEI stand out in the industry. Let's come together in celebrating Vince and his unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to our success!! #teamCEI

Yesterday, our incredible team dedicated their time to giving back to the community, and it was truly a heartwarming experience! We rolled up our sleeves and volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank, where we packed a whopping 350 senior food boxes that will soon find their way to homes across Davidson County. It's inspiring to witness the collective effort and compassion that our team brings to the table, both in the workplace and beyond. A big shoutout to everyone who participated and contributed their time and energy to make this initiative a success!

Jobsite Progress: ICON Hardin Valley Phase II Knoxville, TN Phase II at ICON Hardin Valley continues to impress in every stage of construction. The project kicked off with a literal uphill battle. Crews moved approximately 180k cubic yards of earth to prep the site for retaining walls. Cutting into the hillside and benching back with a geogrid stretching 20 ft into the mountain, the retaining walls span 210 feet in length. Framing, roofing, and windows are completed on 2 of the lower buildings while crews are busy with MEP rough-ins. Crews have completed 2 upper pads and will progress with the remaining pads. Phase II will include 124 rentable units and will share the clubhouse, pool, and lavish amenities with Phase I. Additional amenities to the second phase including gas grills, fire pits and a hammock lawn.
