For the 2023 season, PG Environmental is conducting field sampling for the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Terrestrial Assessment, Inventory, and Monitoring (AIM) strategy in Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico. So far, our crews have completed collecting field data at 900 of the 960 sites between the three states. Crews collect intensive vegetation and soils data on upland or rangeland habitats that is used to guide and justify policy action, land uses, and adaptive management decisions for the BLM. We applaud this impressive undertaking. Thank you all and we look forward to finishing the season with you!

For the 2023 season, PG is conducting field sampling for the Bureau of Land Management’s Lotic Assessment, Inventory, and Monitoring (AIM) strategy in Arizona and Colorado. Our crews will collect field data at 41 river and stream sites between the two states—sampling water quality, benthic macroinvertebrates, stream geomorphology, human influence, and vegetation. Crews completed sampling on 23 sites in Arizona and are currently collecting data for the remaining 18 sites in Colorado. We commend the accomplishments of our crews thus far and wish them the best of luck in their ongoing efforts! #WaterResourceSpecialists

Kettie Holland Rupnik, an Environmental Scientist at PG, recently volunteered with the Rivanna Conservation Alliance to help sixth graders collect benthic samples and identify macroinvertebrates. The students used the data to assess the Rivanna River's water quality. Way to go, Kettie! #WaterResourceSpecialist
