Personal Marketing Personal marketing is the set of strategies whose objective is to establish a positive perception about an individual. In other words, make the audience look at a person as an authority on a certain topic, as well as exalt their actions and activities with marketing techniques. But what is the importance of personal marketing? In my opinion personal marketing isn’t just a need it is a must to every professional activity. Nowadays consumers want to talk to people, the brands are each day more humanized. One thing is right, a company can go bankrupt but the personal impression stays forever. Example: The actor Dwayne Johnson also know as “The Rock” has one of the most impressive and consistent way to promote himself. But how can I build a strong personal marketing such as The Rock? - Leveraging his existent reach - Aligning his brand with is passions - Discipline - Expanding to new markets - Interacting across mediums - Gain public trust - Improve your image

One reason I enjoy working in the marketing industry is because of how fundamental it is to being human. At its core, marketing is simply talking up, giving ‘lift’ to or promoting things that we believe have value. We value family, friends, hobbies, good food, travel, etc. Therefore, we are constantly in a marketing mode, because we love talking about the things that bring value to our lives. We find that we actually can’t stop talking about them. Why is that? Why is it that we cannot stop marketing things of value? Because they bring us joy and meaning. Because that joy and meaning is intrinsic and essential to what makes us human. When a business or organization is engaging in marketing, they are practicing an art that begins fundamentally at a basic human level. Because a human constantly markets things of value, a business/org does the same. They market their product, which they believe has value. They market not just because their livelihood depends on it, but because fundamentally they believe in it enough to keep talking about it.
