Yes! physical & mental well-being go together! so wonderful to see the benefits of physical activity being shown & implemented at the moment. I currently run the Move More Feel Better programme in Surrey Heath for people with Cancer, and it's life changing. We need this further support within the NHS pathway!
A new pilot programme is giving those getting mental health support, more opportunities to get active. That's following research showing the benefits of physical activity on mental health.

This is a great chance for us to try and get a head of some of the cancers that get detected to late, especially when there are no symptoms. Please, if you receive the letter asking to take part, please consider it. It takes 5 minutes to do a blood test, and this could prove absolutely life changing for many. This trial is aiming to look for 50 different cancers, and catch up to 75% of grade 1 and grade 2 cancers. What does this mean? It means there is hope, there would be treatment options, it could be contained and not spread without someone even realising. Cancer has taken far to many loved ones. It's trials like this that can make us tackle this horrid disease, and beat it. Details of the areas of the country taking part, and all the other information you need. Well done to all the scientists who have made this trial possible! https://lnkd.in/esjKJ-uT

2yThanks for sharing this Kelly. It's so important to check for lumps and changes in the breast. Also to all women who are offered a breast screen please attend this as mammograms can detect the very early signs of breast cancer (even if you are unable to feel lumps in the breast).
