We have some fantastic leaders serving on the SC Bar Board of Governors during the 2023-24 Bar year, and this month we’ll be introducing them as they work to serve our mission. Today we meet, Krystal Watson Smith, At-Large Member of the SC Bar Board of Governors. She earned her Bachelor's Degree of Arts from Norfolk State University and her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. She began her career as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Services of Northern Michigan. Upon moving to South Carolina, she worked her way to Managing Attorney at South Carolina Legal Services. Her firm, K. Laws, LLC was founded in 2020 as a civil litigation law firm focused in the areas of Real Estate, Family Law, and Estate Planning. Currently, she is using her decades of experience to provide quality legal services as the President and CEO of R.E.S.T. that provides services to victims of domestic violence in Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties and victims of sexual assault in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. Krystal now lives in Spartanburg, SC with her husband and daughter Avery. Thank you Krystal for all your hard work!
