Here is your weekly Marin County Real Estate Market Update. This week, Marin County saw an increase in new listings, with 41 new listings that hit the market. This is a decrease from last week where there were 29 new listings to hit the market. Notably, there were 12 price reductions across the county. This is an important trend for potential buyers to take note of. Price reductions often indicate motivated sellers and may open up opportunities for negotiations. For those waiting for the right time to make a purchase, this could be your chance to secure a property at a discounted price. This week, 7 properties moved to a contingent status. This means that while these properties are under contract, the sale is reliant on certain conditions being met. A total of 15 properties moved to pending status this week in Marin County. Pending sales are those where all contingencies have been met, and the sale is just waiting to close.
