Suresh ji, the Auto-Driver I had a few matters in Patiala House Courts that day and got free around 11:30 am. I clearly remember taking the elevator where I met Suresh ji- a short and portly man wearing a blood stained white shirt, holding his fully- bandaged head in his left hand going back home dejected. I asked him in an alleviated tone, "What happened?" S: They smashed my head with an iron rod and beat me a lot. Me: Who smashed your head? S: My maternal cousins, who also live in my locality Naharpur(P.S. North Rohini). They are scoundrels, harrass me almost everyday after getting drunk. When I confronted them yesterday night, they beat me with an iron rod. Me: Why didn't you go to the police station? S: I went to the police station but the police-vala shooed me away and didn't file an FIR. I have come to the court to get justice now but nobody would listen. "हमको न्याय दिलवाइए भैया, हमें बहुत मारा,हमारा खून निकाल दिया और परिवार के साथ गाली - गलोच किया। इलाज करवाने का पैसा भी नहीं दिया।" I collected the facts from him, immediately left for Rohini and got the FIR filed. His "Thank you" was conveyed to me in all the possible ways. Moral: It doesn't take a cape to help someone. All it takes is an intention, and a strong will to execute. #law #lawyer #helpinghands

Commendable gesture Nilesh ! 👏 I still remember when we were in the same batch in CL varanasi, warming up to face the new phase in life and now after almost a decade, we both are in the same town with a different goals, different passion, different experiences.

Great work, humanity haven't died yet. 👏

Gr8 work, this kind of assurance really needed! Also why police haven't taken complaint initially should be examined in the court, to avoid negligence!

You did a great thing! As a human being, it is the 1st dupty(karma )of every human being that if anyone is in trouble, then remove them from that problem. We should help other's if we can, in any possible way! 🙏👏
