2020 was my first year of full time mortgage loan origination since 1996. 29.6m, 68 units, 70% purchase, all self sourced. Thanks First United for taking a chance on me, and thanks for the trust so many have put in me this past year. Looking forward to 2021!

Yesterday, Houston's U.S. Bank Team came together to celebrate their successes and give back to the community. The team spent the afternoon packing essential medical supplies at Project CURE-Houston, which will be sent to underserved communities in Mexico. It was a great day of reflection and service for the team. #communityservice #volunteering #givingback

As you might already know the conforming mortgage loan limit was raised to $726,200 for a single family home in 99% of the US. Many of us in the mortgage business (self included) initially responded by saying "that's crazy!". So, I dug around and matched it to the average price of a single family home in the US over time. The resulting chart here makes it seem not so crazy. One interesting thing is that it's never dropped year to year even though home prices have. #mortgage #conforminglimit #homeprices #mortgagerates
