🔻 CHAIRMAN OF THE BODs OF VU PHONG ENERGY GROUP MET AND SHARED WITH HO CHI MINH CITY LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY OF INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY  ▪️ On the morning of March 28, Mr. Phong, Pham Nam - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vu Phong Energy Group - along with some experts in the community of innovation and creativity attended the program. ▪️ The program was attended by Mr. Nen, Nguyen Van, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee; Mr. Mai, Phan Van, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee, Chairman of the HCMC Municipal People's Committee; leaders of departments and sectors, along with nearly 30 reputable experts and innovative entrepreneurs in Vietnam and HCMC.  ▪️ At the program, Mr. Phong, Pham Nam and some experts in the community of innovation and creativity, shared and contributed ideas to collectively build HCMC into the Innovative Entrepreneurship Center with regional and continental influence. ▪️ During the meeting, Mr. Phong shared with city leaders on long-term green energy infrastructure planning for green transportation conversion. To achieve carbon neutrality, these are the two areas HCMC needs to focus on, as fixed energy and transportation emissions account for over 93% of the city's total emissions. Mr. Phong noted that current electric vehicle charging technology has a 300-400 kW capacity, and countries are racing to increase it to thousands of kW. Therefore, transitioning to green transportation will be very difficult if the electricity supply and transmission infrastructure do not meet these needs. ▪️ Mr. Phong also suggested that HCMC leverage resources from international sources and adopt internationally standardized emission reduction measurement platforms.
