One of the major requirements for writing ZIMSEC exams is having submitted one's CALA projects or marks. This poses a very big challenge to most external students who may not have easy access to CALA writing services in some centres.

The Feynman Technique is the approach I use for communicating and writing. It was originally designed as a learning technique, but my approach to effective writing and speaking is to thoroughly learn the topic I'm writing and speaking about. I know, crazy thought, right? I've been thinking a lot about the difference between pedagogy and tools for teaching writing in the classroom. The tools for verifying and assessing writing have been disrupted and the response by educators has been varied: reverting to in-classroom writing, adopting bluebooks, etc. At Cursive Technology, Inc, we're interested in providing tools that support both existing and new pedagogies by starting with authorship.
