Wahyd Launches In Kabul, Afghanistan

Wahyd Logistics is now crossing borders with the launch of its new marketplace in Kabul, Afghanistan, which will serve as the company’s first international location outside of Pakistan.

Wahyd Logistics, part of Wahyd Group, has entered Afghanistan to face the challenges of the logistics sector, including both SME and corporate segments. Its online logistics services help connect shippers and truck drivers to fulfil their needs with maximum efficiency and minimum headache. Wahyd’s Logistics app provides consumers with a vast network of transporters, real-time tracking, shipment insights, analytics, and more. Its online platforms offer instant quotes for shipments submitted by shippers through its web or mobile app. Shippers can track their packages in real-time and receive confirmation and proof of delivery documents via email.

Wahyd Logistics has been operating since 2020, providing inbound and outbound logistics services, FTL (full truckload), goods transportation, ground support equipment, and packers and movers.

Wahyd Logistics has initiated its service with Kabul but has plans to grow across Afghanistan. Currently, it is offering the following types of transportation options for shippers: 6-wheelers, 10-wheelers, Flatbed trucks, Mazda trucks, Box trucks, and Tautliner trucks. Logistics accounts for about 10 per cent of global GDP, making it a trillion-dollar industry. Wahyd is developing and optimizing its technology to become a significant player in the logistics industry and take advantage of its market potential. Wahyd Group Inc. aims to bring to Afghanistan the positive changes it has implemented in countries throughout the region and revitalize its logistics landscape.

“Expanding to Afghanistan was a natural step for us after getting unprecedented success in Pakistan, as we aim to technology enable the entire Central Asian logistics industry”, said Shahzad Sadan (CEO, Wahyd Pakistan). He added, “The logistics sector is often seen as the backbone of any economy. This is especially true in developing countries, where a strong logistics sector can help to create a vibrant marketplace and stimulate economic growth. Central Asia is one region that is quickly emerging as a global logistics hub. Thanks to its strategic location and growing infrastructure, Central Asia is becoming an increasingly important transit point for goods moving between Europe and Asia.”
