Luthier Gregory Lange’s whole life has been about guitars and making things with his hands. His love of music began in 1968 when he bought his first guitar from a Sears Roebuck catalog. 10 years later Lange graduated cum laude with a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Texas, went on to pursue an art career in New York, and later moved back to Texas, earning a living as a carpenter. In 1995 he combined his passions for art, guitars and hands-on craftsmanship while apprenticing under Master Luthier Christopher Savino. In 1999 he founded Little d Guitars in the music-rich town of Denton, Texas, and in the fifteen years since, Lange has repaired and set up virtually every kind of stringed instrument, and has begun taking orders to build custom instruments under his own brand.
Little d Guitars is a neighborhood music shop where all kinds of stringed instruments can be bought, consigned, repaired or built. Owner and luthier Gregory Lange has been building and playing guitars for over 25 years.
