Classic Sevruga caviar is often used as an entry level into the magnificent world of caviar. Despite of its relatively small size the Sevruga Caviar is sometimes preferred more for its stronger caviar taste among other caviar and relatively lower price. Harvested from the Sevruga sturgeon "Acipenser stellatus" native to the Caspian and Black Seas, this is true caviar: grey, aromatic and pearlescent, with a crisp finish. Perfect for a luxurious amuse-buche, or to pair with a selection of caviars in a sampler.

The grains are medium size of slate-grey color with crunchy texture, easily separated from each other. The Sevruga Caviar has a distinguished smooth and buttery flavor with a sweet ocean finish.
