After graduating from the University of The Arts in 2007 with a BFA in Modern Dance, Laura decided to add Massage Therapy to her tool set to coincide with her dance career. Combining her knowledge of movement and the body with her massage education, she graduated from Cortiva Institute of Muscle Therapy in King of Prussia, PA in 2009.

​She started working in a fitness and rehab facility side by side with Physical Therapists and Exercise Physiologists. Here she gained majority of her experience with injuries and massage techniques to help with the rehabilitation process. Along with various Continuing Education classes, she also gained experience in Spas, and Yoga, and Wellness studios.

​In 2012, Laura began her own practice Massage Studio of Philadelphia and had the opportunity to work on the Philadelphia Eagles for their 2014-2015 NFL Football season. She moved to Los Angeles, CA in January 2015 and worked at Equinox, local PT/Wellness clinics, the best yoga studio on the East Side -- One Down Dog, and several high performance/celebrity clientele. She also received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and began teaching workshops on Movement + Breath Mediation, Hands-On Savasana workshops and has organized/co-hosted a Yoga Retreat in Mexico and Canada. Along with Massage Therapy, Laura teaches one to one yoga sessions to everyone from the injured, elderly to mom’s and professional athletes.

​Laura is still to dancing, choreographing and performing and continuously integrates her skills and passion for movement within her massage techniques. Also adding yoga and stretch flows that not only invigorate and heal the muscle, but relax & revitalize her clients.

Specializing in Therapeutic Massage and bodywork including various techniques that cater to sports specific work, corrective/rehabilitative and general maintenance and stress relief. She is a Massage Therapist to the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Pennsylvania Ballet along with other local Phil-ebrities.

 

KAT CORBETT, LMT
Massage Therapist

Kat Corbett studied massage therapy at the Cortiva Institute in PA, graduating in August 2021.

Kat’s approach to bodywork is informed by her professional dance and teaching career. She enjoys working with clients and students to find the most efficient and healthy way to move and take care of the body. She has been dancing and working professionally since her graduation with a BFA in Dance Performance from East Carolina University in 2017.

Kat has been working with students teaching, ballet, modern, jazz, tap, acrobatics, and conditioning. She currently performs in PA with dance companies such as SHARP, Asya Zlatina/Artist House, Brian Sanders JUNK, and Matter Movement Group. Working in a physically demanding field has given her a love for movement and the body. Kat is excited to continue her path in body work with massage therapy.

BAILEY BENOOT, RYT
Yoga Instructor


Bailey Benoot received her 200 HR YTT Certification in 2018 and graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance and Choreography from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2019. Bailey has had a strong passion for dance and movement since she was a child, and gravitated towards yoga in college to supplement her dancing. After experiencing the profound effects that practicing yoga had on her strength and flexibility as a dancer, she decided to go through teacher training with OM Factory NYC. Bailey has experience teaching all ages and skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. Her focus is on alignment within a functional flow, and she enjoys helping her students find freedom within the discipline of yoga.

Bailey continues to teach dance, choreograph, and perform in the greater Philadelphia area. Currently, she teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop and performs with Mignolo Dance, an NJ-based contemporary dance company. She is also an avid runner and knitter, finding joy in all forms of movement.
