How likely are you to recommend Dr. Edelman?
My visit was several years ago for a consult regarding gall bladder surgery. At that time, my insurance limited me to Larkin Hospital for the surgery, a hospital I had issues with before. However, the doctor was the best for me. I got the surgery in Mayo at Rochester, Minn. because my sister invited me on fun winter trip, & Mayo accepted my insurance. But always kept this doctor in mind for future malady. My brother-in-law Les S. had successful hernia repair by this wonderful doctor a couple of years back. After recent E.R. visit & diagnosis of (incarcerated) femoral hernia, immediately called his office for appointment. After dialing and dialing without getting through, asked my cardiologist what was going on. He informed me that Dr. Edelman had retired. So disappointing. It's rare to discover an experienced doctor with a proven track record who displays focus and empathy, explains situations well, and has a cheery staff of lovely, helpful people surrounding him.
