Dr. Andrea Nied, PT, DPT

Dr. Andrea Nied, PT, DPT has been a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Colorado since 2011, when she moved to Arvada immediately after finishing physical therapy school. Andrea has extensive experience working with all orthopedic conditions, as well as a specialization in pelvic health, abdominal visceral mobilization, and spine rehabilitation. After the birth of her daughter in 2016, Andrea was experiencing low back pain that wasn’t going away with her typical physical therapy work. Then, 6 months after her daughter was born, she decided to take a pelvic floor course, and was blown away that her back pain immediately went away that weekend! The pain was actually coming from the pelvic floor and not her back! She was hooked! After her son was born in 2017, Andrea successfully treated her other postpartum problems including bladder leakage, prolapse, and pelvic pain. In 2018, Andrea and her family moved to London, UK where she became a fully licensed UK Physiotherapist and started a successful physical therapy practice during the COVID pandemic by focusing on serving those in her local community. She is also a certified APPI Matwork Pilates Instructor. In 2021, Andrea, her husband, and two young children made the decision to leave London and return to beautiful Arvada. She is incredibly excited to be home in Colorado and looking forward to meeting you!

Dr. Kayla Bousfield, PT, DPT

Dr. Kayla Bousfield, PT, DPT is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist with a deep passion for holistic wellness. Originally hailing from the East Coast, Kayla earned her Doctorate degree from the University of Vermont. She was drawn to pelvic floor therapy after several women in her life were dealing with their own pelvic floor issues. Kayla realized the gap in accessibility of pelvic health care and was inspired to help increase the awareness and knowledge of pelvic wellness. Kayla is driven by her unwavering commitment to addressing the root causes of her patients' health concerns. She firmly believes in a comprehensive approach to healthcare that goes beyond surface-level solutions. When Kayla isn't busy helping her patients on their wellness journeys, you'll often find her on a snowboard, rock climbing, or practicing yoga. To Kayla, wellness isn't just about physical health; it's about the ability to fully embrace life and savor the activities that bring joy.

Dr. Danielle Bradley, PT, DPT

Dr. Danielle Bradley had her beginnings on the East Coast before her love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle brought her to the state of Colorado where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University. Her passion for adventure and travel led her to work as a physical therapist in various states. Danielle is deeply committed to a holistic approach to healthcare and wellness, which stems from her diverse healthcare experience. Specializing as a certified pelvic health physical therapist and yoga teacher, she emphasizes the importance of a regulated nervous system through mindfulness practices. With a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives, she brings a unique blend of expertise and compassion to her practice. Proficient in strength training with barbells and free weights, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of movement and fitness. Outside of her professional life, she finds solace in outdoor activities such as trail running, backpacking, skiing, and paddle boarding, embodying her dedication to a balanced and active lifestyle.

Stephanie McNees, Office Administrator

Stephanie is a wife and mother of 2 (7 year old girl and 5 year old boy). She’s originally from Oregon but has lived in Colorado for over 15 years now. When Stephanie is not working, she enjoy spending time with my family and friends, thrift store shopping, baking desserts, traveling and working out on her Peloton.

She believes pelvic floor health is so important and loves being able to help women fulfill their goals of getting back to feeling like themselves again. She has a passion for advocating for patients to get back to fitness postpartum and resolve pelvic floor issues. As a mom herself, she loves seeing moms bring in their kids and help them get care that they deserve.

Shanna Grimes, Office Administrator

Shanna is a Colorado native and graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder (go Buffs!), and has always had a passion for health and wellness. She has two decades of work experience in administrative and client services across a variety of industries, and previously owned her own photography business. Shanna was drawn to this position at Movement Physio & Wellness because she truly enjoys being a part of a holistic practice that empowers and supports women in their healing journey and helps them get back to the activities they love!

Shanna lives in Golden with her husband, their two sons, a golden retriever and two very entertaining parakeets. She loves traveling, photography and gardening, and loves living in such a beautiful state that offers so many opportunities to be outdoors and active. Her favorite activities are hiking, running and paddle boarding.

The idea for MOVEMENT came about during the COVID pandemic. Andrea realized how people were forced to become sedentary once offices, schools, and everyday life shut down. Multiple friends and family were suddenly calling her with neck and back pain, as a result of not moving their bodies. She wanted to create a physical therapy clinic that promoted MOVEMENT as the KEY to a healthy lifestyle. It was also shocking how the standard of postpartum care plummeted during the pandemic. At Andrea’s practice in London, her postpartum patients usually told her their 6 week check-up appointment with the doctor was only a phone call and they didn’t receive any in-person care unless something else serious was going wrong. Most often, these moms didn’t know where to turn to when they started experiencing pelvic pain, leaking, or symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse. It is Andrea’s goal to create a MOVEMENT of self care for all people, that you are worthy to heal your body, so you can get back to the activities you love!
