Travelling with Nathan has been a one-of-a-kind experience. Thanks to his sharp eye for detail, extensive research, competent and adorable local guide, everything is smoothly organised and you “miraculously” always end up in the right place at the right time in the right light. Nathan uses photography as a means to genuinely connect with people, creating very unique moments of joy, laughter and sharing. His approach is always deeply respectful of local populations and these are the practices he shares and teaches his clients. Simply the kind of experience so good that you might be tempted to keep it to yourself.

Nathan is in a league of his own when it comes to planning and setting the scene, and improvising to capitalise on the moment. We came away (tired but exhilarated) having had an immersive exposure to the culture, people, sights and sounds of this diverse area of India. Nathan not only gives guidance on composition and camera settings as we go along, but encourages us to engage with the locals during the many street/market walks. The sessions on ethics, camera craft and post-processing with Lightroom ensure a fully rounded photographic growth experience.

Competition winners.

It seems as if almost every month we learn that another photographer has won an award with images taken on our tours. For many years now we have had prize winners in newspapers, magazines, camera clubs, fellowships, as well as national and international competitions.

This picture from Thar desert was taken by Guy Larin, and won top honours in a Montreal Camera Club competition in November 2020.
