During the session, fine needles are placed on the superficial level of the skin to promote local blood circulation, enhancing your skin’s wellness. How long is each session?
During the session, we do a skin assessment with a thorough intake of your medical history, check your tongue and pulse, followed by acupuncture treatment on both the facial area and body. It takes approximately 70-80 mins for the first session and 60 mins for follow-up treatments.
How often can I get Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments?
It is recommended to do Cosmetic Acupuncture every 1-2 days for the first 5-6 sessions, followed by once a week for another 4 weeks. After that, you can have it done once fortnightly or monthly to maintain optimum skin condition.
How long does it take to see the effect of Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments?
The specific timeframe for noticing results varies, depending on individual body condition. In most cases, you may begin to see a difference in the skin, such as a firmer, brighter or smoother texture, by the fourth or fifth treatment.

A potential downside of the treatment includes mild bruising at the insertion site, which may take up to 7 days to subside.
Is there an instance when I shouldn’t get Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Since you need to be lying in a supine position, it is not suitable if you are pregnant.
