Officials: Meth, ecstasy pills found during search of motel on Amarillo Blvd

POTTER COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - The Potter County Sheriff’s Office says deputies found meth and ecstasy pills during a search of a motel on Amarillo Boulevard Monday.
According to a news release, deputies with the Special Operations Division for the Potter County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a hotel near Amarillo Boulevard and North Grand Street.
Officials say deputies found around 100 ecstasy pills, around 10 grams of methamphetamine and a firearm. The pills also contained fentanyl.
The suspect was identified as Mark Roper.
He was arrested and booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
