Meet our Doctor:

Dr. Ronaldo Joey Vasquez is a veterinarian and a father. He attended USC, Ross University, and Kansas State School of Veterinary Medicine, with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He worked in emergency medicine prior to transitioning to private practice. In addition to his regular responsibilities, Dr. Vasquez enjoys mentoring veterinary students, as well as sharing his knowledge, speaking at schools about careers in veterinary medicine, and the human-animal bond.

He also works with organizations like the Humane Society and local rescues, providing veterinary services for the pets of the homeless and impoverished families. Says, Dr. Vasquez, “I believe in doing as much as I can to improve the care and quality of life for the pets and their owners in the community.”

A standout moment of recognition for Dr. Vasquez is receiving a commendation from the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti. However, if you ask the doctor for his proudest accomplishment, he quickly replies with a wide grin, “My wife Jennifer and my two kids Tyler and Kaylie.”
