Topsail Missiles & More Museum

The Topsail Missiles & More Museum not only showcases much of this area’s military history, the site itself has an interesting story.The building, constructed 1946, was used by the government to assemble missiles for a secret missile operation being conducted on Topsail Island. The late Betty Polzer’s dream was to promote the history of Topsail Island and the stories it has to tell. Her dream was realized when the museum opened in 1995. It has been serving to educate the community for over 20 years now.
