UnitySafe's APEX SRL50LE is a self-retracting lifeline. Class 2 is for use with anchorages ABOVE or BELOW the dorsal D-ring. Maximum allowable freefall not to exceed 6 feet (1.8m). This new standard went into effect on August 1st, 2023.
These mechanical fall arresters feature a locking mechanism and energy management system. In addition to arresting the fall of the user, this design limits the forces imparted onto the user.
