NAI Realvest negotiates sale of office/flex condo

NAI Realvest recently negotiated the investment sale of an office/flex condo with 5,299 useable square feet at the Crossroads Business Center, 931 S. Semoran Blvd. in Winter Park. The NAI Realvest team of Associates Chris Adams and Drew Saphos, CCIM and Chairman George Livingston, negotiated the transaction representing the seller, Crossroads FlexxOffice Ltd. of Miami. Local Buyer Crossroads 931 Investments, LLC paid $450,415 for the property which is zoned for R&D, office and a variety of commercial and warehouse uses. Vince Wolle of Results Real Estate Partners LLC represented the buyer.

Firm names new director of land development

M/I Homes, building new single-family and townhomes in 14 active communities in Central Florida, recently named David Brown director of land development. David Byrnes, area president of M/I Homes, said Brown is a graduate of the University of Maine with degrees in civil engineering and political science. He has held executive positions in land development with national homebuilders for more than 15 years in central and southwest Florida. In his new role at M/I Homes, Brown will manage the development process from conception of project to community closeout, working with M/I Homes business partners and local government officials.

NAI Realvest names new associate

NAI Realvest, one of central Florida’s largest commercial real estate services companies, recently named Rachel Saunders, MBA an associate. Robin Webb, managing director at NAI Realvest, said Saunders has more than 12 years of experience in business and real estate. Saunders is a successful real estate entrepreneur and has been a partner and owner in real estate investment companies since 2004. She started and owns Southeast Ingenuity Investments Inc. where she has been active in growing a portfolio of rental properties. Additionally, she has developed land for a Nashville suburb, and also sold hundreds of acres to Nestle Waters North America for aquifer use with water bottling companies.

Berkadia completes multiple property sales

Berkadia recently completed the sale of six multifamily properties in the greater Orlando area for a combined total of more than $141 million. Berkadia also provided the financing for five of the transactions. Managing Director Cole Whitaker and Senior Director Hal Warren of the Orlando office, alongside Senior Director Jason Stanton of the Tampa office, facilitated the sales. The properties include District on Baldwin Park, The Park at Cambridge, Columns at Winter Springs, Pendelton Park Villas, and Affinity at Winter Park.

M/I Homes hires new home consultant

M/I Homes has named Susan Drazen a new home consultant. David Byrnes, area president of M/I Homes, said Drazen is a highly energetic professional with a varied background that includes 18 years in the heath-care industry with a focus on patient care, sales and customer service and business development. Drazen was formerly the owner/operator of Wow Smile Xpress and Light Smile, a specialty retail business that she grew into 53 locations with $1.6 million in annual revenue. She brought her sales and customer service experience into numerous local community service initiatives that she implemented, assisted, sponsored or chaired, including the Seminole County Schools Artsee Program for elementary students; raising over $500,000 for United Way Foundation annually; and a capital campaign for a new art wing and auditorium at Lake Highland Preparatory School.
