BOTOX® Cosmetic is a highly purified protein injected into the skin to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles due to repeated facial expressions, such as on the forehead and around the eyes. Fine lines and wrinkles can make you appear tired and angry even when you are not. One of the safest and quickest ways to remove these lines is the administration of Botox Cosmetic. This prevents early-stage wrinkles from becoming more pronounced (and more difficult to treat). Regular Botox injections can therefore not only soften existing wrinkles, they can keep new ones from forming.
At Peak Aesthetics each client gets a customized plan that corresponds with their goals and budget. A two-week follow up appointment is recommended, and included, after your Botox injection. Botox takes a full 2 weeks to settle and allows for any touch ups, if needed, at the two week follow up. Results last for 3-4 months.
What You Can Expect
After just one treatment Botox will leave you with smoother-looking youthful skin and a more refreshed appearance. When using these muscle relaxers there is very minimal downtime associated with them. The results appear gradually and disappear gradually over 3-4 months.
Botox can be combined with other procedures such as dermal fillers, microneedling and chemical peels that can further improve results of lines and wrinkles.
