Dr. Suresh K Pandey
A medical graduate of Rani Durgawati University, Medical College, Jabalpur, M.P., India; Dr. Pandey completed his residency in Ophthalmology from prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. He worked at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC, USA, University of Utah, USA & Sydney Eye Hospital, Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney, Australia from1998 to 2006. Dr. Pandey returned to India in 2006 to establish SuVi Eye Institute and Research Center at Kota, Rajasthan, India.
Dr. Pandey has presented more than 150 scientific papers in various international ophthalmological meetings and authored more than 100 scientific papers/communications, 50 textbook chapters, and 10 ophthalmic textbooks including a book on Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disorders. Dr. Pandey’s book on Pediatric Cataract Surgery (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, USA) remains the bestseller on this topic. In 2005, Dr. Pandey was invited to demonstrate Live Surgery at international meeting at Milan, Italy. Dr. Pandey received several prestigious awards for his research & surgical innovations, which include Best-of-Show Video Award, Best Poster Award, Best-Paper-of-the-Session Award for the surgical videos, scientific posters and papers in the national and international ophthalmology congresses. Dr. Pandey has been selected for Achievement Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2002.
Dr. Vidushi Sharma
Dr. Vidushi Sharma did her basic medical education (MBBS) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She then did post graduation in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. Thereafter pursued ophthalmic education in United Kingdom and obtained FRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. She then joined as a Senior Resident in the Oculoplastic Unit of RP Centre AIIMS and worked there for three years. She then pursued her interest in Oculoplastic surgery further at the John A Moran Eye Center, University of Utah, USA and Sydney Eye Hospital, University of Sydney, Australia and did a fellowship in Oculoplastic surgery and Pediatric ophthalmology subspecialties.
Dr. Vidushi returned to India and set up the SuVi Eye Institute and Research Centre (www.suvieye.com) at Kota, Rajasthan, India in February 2006. She has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals including such prestigious ones as Archives of Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. She has also presented papers at major international ophthalmic conferences including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr Vidushi has been invited to deliver key note lectures related to Changing Trends in Medical Practice, Practice Management, Group Medical practice, etc. by various forums.
