There once was a speedy hare who bragged about how fast he could run. Tired of hearing him boast slow and steady tortoise challenged him to a race……………… You all know the ending.

Piglets is the tortoise in this speedy hare of a world. The seed was planted in 2005, starting right above us in the flat upstairs. With many early mornings off to the local car boots, days in the rain at summer fairs and the occasional table top sale. Just taking small steady steps that took us onto eBay as ‘The Old and New Shop’ with a 600 ft. square storage room based in Southville.

Piglets is run by myself Jayne and my father Kevin. We have had and continue to have lots of support from other family members making our journey possible. My children have not only just got in the way on few occasions, they also enjoy giving a helping hand. No doubt you will meet them soon enough.

We all know the bottom line to business is to make money; I need to put food on my table for myself and my 3 children. We believe and know this can be achieved from honesty and hard work, but key to piglets is great customer service. If you don’t have customers, you don’t have food for your table. We do try hard to offer the best service we can. We are normal hard working people who are learning every step of the way.
