THE JANGLING REINHARTS came together to provide roots-rock music largely forgotten by other bands. Think: The Band meets Van Morrison and they go out to Stephen Stills' house and listen to the Monkees while watching a Barenaked Ladies video. This melting pot of music describes what they are all about. THE JANGLING REINHARTS mix popular cover songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s (along with the occasional TV theme song…just to see who's listening). Beautiful vocal harmonies, superb finger-style on the lead guitar, and a knack for playing the right song at the right time set THE JANGLING REINHARTS apart from the rest. THE JANGLING REINHARTS normally perform as a four-piece band, including two guitarists, bass, and drums, each of whom contribute vocals as well. Also available is an acoustic duo or trio version of the band for a more laid-back event, or just for an opening set to gradually get the evening started. Either way, you still get a great sound with a huge variety of songs you know and love. The Reinharts were selected co-Best Wedding Band in Richmond by voters in Richmond Magazine's 2014 year-end poll, and were selected outright in 2015.

The Taters play Roots-pop: an eclectic mix of roots-rock, power-pop, country, and Americana, a sound that's been described as "Country roots-pop with the genius songwriting of 60's & 70's power-pop, …a curious mix of Mavericks, Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and Beatles" (CDBaby). Billboard magazine calls it "American roots-rock with thoroughly modern, totally hip sensibilities". No Depression magazine describes it like this: "Think 'Beatles For Sale' if Marty Robbins were a primary influence instead of Carl Perkins." The Washington Post says the Taters "Successfully combine the best elements of Buddy Holly with the vocal harmonies of the Everly Brothers."

The Tater Brothers
When Craig Evans and Brad Tucker started singing together in the early 1980's, neither could have guessed how long that partnership would last. With "Taters PARTY", the band's 6th CD release, they continue to mine their collective experience to craft songs with unforgettable hooks and pop melodies, and to add classic tunes to their repertoire that reflect a wide range of interests and influences. Layers of acoustic and electric guitars mix with 3 and 4 part harmonies to give each song its own personality while the lead vocals and songwriting pull it all together into a very satisfying whole.

Based in Richmond, VA, the Sunslingers create songs inspired by their shared love of old time string bands, gypsy-jazz, soul, rock and roll, Irish fiddle tunes, and early Americana music.

Our songs are about love, betrayal, friendship, the supernatural, what happens at night by the crossroads, how to spend your money and your time, and the value of being able to read a map you keep tucked under the seat of your car when the splintering sun is blazing down.

Chuck Peterson thumps the stand up bass, David Johns beats the drums, Tom Stevens saws the fiddle, and Joseph Bolick picks the guitar.  All of our songs are written by Tom and Joseph who share the vocals.

PMS and the Hot Flashes originally performed as The Colonists, the first all-girl band in RVA, from 1966-1977.  They reunited in 1998 as PMS and the Hot Flashes (for obvious reasons) until 2001.  Like bad pennies, they’re back again with a repertoire filled with great songs from the 1960s to today, including favorites from James Brown, Credence Clearwater Revival, and Travis Tritt to name a few.  Come check them out!    https://youtu.be/JcAVvH20XXU
