I made a slight detour to stop for lunch and it was a great decision from the moment I stopped. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, but in the perfect casual way. La Cantina is a lovely brightly colored restaurant that offers a change of pace with a Mexican flare. My most favorite dish is their burrito carne made with small cuts of beef and great flavors. They serve it with a healthy portion of very tasty french fries and a bit of a lettuce salad. Everything about my visit was great! I was greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I walked in. My server, Stephanie, was wonderful. I had a burrito, it was amazing with just the rite amount of spicy without going overboard. Flan for dessert, also perfect. Everything is very authentic including the atmosphere. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous. Two thumbs up.
