J C After our family enjoyed the first season we were disappointed with season 2. Characters were infantilized while the plot slowed so much our kids lost interest after 3 episodes. My wife and I gave up an episode later. Disappointing after an interesting first season. Not sure why the show took a turn from the adventure of the first season to focusing on scenes of almost emoji like silliness and simplicity. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Jorge Luis D excelente trama, excelente guion, una historia conmovedora e inspiradora, excelentes actores y personajes bien desarrollados.👏👏 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review UnoGeeks T Thanks for the informative article. Season 2 is extremely good, it is fun to watch and we can see the characters growing up after the 1st season. It is full of magic and the story is amazing. I loves season 2 and especially how they end every singe episode in a cliffhanger thus making e want to see more. It is an extremely good and well invisioned show that is seriously my favorite drama series of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review derrick B Season 1 had a decent mix of writing, suspense, and learning the unknown of the world. Season 2 is just terrible, terrible writing. What changed? Season 2 is simply a children's show with flat characters. Don't go into it with any real expectations. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Raven M Very interesting and entertaining .the affects and prosthetics are visually pleasing and the writing is good . Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) Series two may be darker, as already pointed out. But it’s brisk and big-hearted, too. Rated: 4/5 Apr 27, 2023 Full Review Chris Vognar Rolling Stone The uninitiated might want to hit a recap before jumping in, but otherwise Sweet Tooth remains quite welcoming, the kind of thing you might watch with your adolescent. The series has a big heart, but it only occasionally veers into mawkish terrain. Apr 27, 2023 Full Review Jack Seale Guardian Welcome back to the singular world of Sweet Tooth, the pandemic dystopia drama the whole family can enjoy. Rated: 5/5 Apr 27, 2023 Full Review Donal Lynch Sunday Independent (Ireland) The subject matter feels too heavy for such whimsical redirection and Gus's twitching antlers seem like parentheses around the big themes he represents... Jan 29, 2024 Full Review Adam Lock Ready Steady Cut The world-building is superb, and the hybrid children are just downright adorable, but the show’s initial magic is somewhat lacking until the final third. Rated: 3/5 Dec 14, 2023 Full Review Sreeparna Sengupta The Times of India On the whole, there is enough intrigue, magic and wonder to keep one going in this fantastical series about power tussles, humanity and the intrinsic nature of existence.
