Tilak B. Gurung

Chef

Born and raised in beautiful countryside of Nepal, Chef Gurung had experienced and seen typical Nepalese delicacies and the steps and processes of preparing them and spent most of his childhood assisting his mom to prepare family meal.

With over 25 years of experience in his culinary career, he has prepared various cuisine and also served in Iraq with US Army as their Chef. During his long culinary career he worked with Michelin star Chef “Antoine Westermann” in Willard Intercontinental Hotel, Washington D.C. His innovative cooking style and exploration focusses on modern variation of Nepalese Cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients with tropical and sub tropical herbs with consistency on texture and flavor.

Dhan B. Tamang

Chef Dhan, one of the most creative chefs with over 20 years of experience working as a line cook and moving up his rank to his current position as Executive Sous Chef at Army Navy Club before venturing and serving his own inspiration of regional tribal Nepalese Cuisine to a community. He had and opportunity to assist a celebrity Chef “Susur Lee” for 4 years
