No. Resilience-as-a-Service requires no purchase, financing, maintenance, or operation of the generators. You get the benefit of their use at less than the cost of purchase financing.

4CP means “Four Coincidental Peak.” There are four 15-minute periods in each of the four summer months, that represent each month’s peak grid demand, that the utility uses to calculate your demand charges. We predict these 4CP periods and use the generator to negate (“zero out”) your business or operations load during those key 4CP periods, thereby mitigating (“zeroing out”) these charges that represent a significant portion of a business’ electric bill.
