Jim Lyon

Chairman

Jim Lyon is the third generation Lyon to lead Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. Jim is an Arizona native and graduate of the University of Arizona. He started his real estate career with Russ Lyon Commercial Real Estate and went on to serve in numerous managerial capacities for Russ Lyon Realty Company. In 2004 Jim partnered with Todd Gillenwater and opened franchise offices in Sedona and Flagstaff where he served as Designated Broker in Flagstaff. In 2008 Jim and Todd purchased Russ Lyon Realty Company from his father Dennis and merged their franchise operations to create Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. He has served as Chairman of the Board since 2008. Jim and his two boys reside in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Todd Gillenwater

CEO

Todd Gillenwater an Arizona native and graduate of San Diego State University. He received his Arizona real estate license in 1989 and joined Russ Lyon Realty Company in 1994. After a successful sales career in the Carefree office, Todd partnered with Jim Lyon in 2004 and opened Russ Lyon Realty Company franchise offices in Flagstaff and Sedona. Todd served as Designated Broker for the Sedona office until 2008. In 2012 Todd was appointed by his partners to Chief Executive Officer where he is currently involved in all facets of the company. Todd, his wife Nancy and twin girls reside in Flagstaff Arizona.

Tom Locati

Owner/Partner

Tom Locati came to Arizona after owning and operating a successful oil and gas company in his home state of Montana. He started his real estate career with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty as a sales agent in North Scottsdale and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the company's top producing agents. He retired from sales and became a co-owner of Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty in 2012 and serves in numerous business development and strategic planning roles for the company. Tom resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Kevin Gonzales

Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Gonzales' passion for real estate began in 1996 when he started with Russ Lyon Realty Company. That experience guides him through his duties as Chief Operating Officer for Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty and Managing Broker of the Pinnacle Peak office in North Scottsdale. Kevin Gonzales is committed to helping all branches offer their clients and agents the highest level of service and success in the industry.

Bob Juby

Chief Financial Officer

Bob Juby has a strong background in corporate finance, accounting, and tax gained through his experience in a wide range of industries. Bob graduated from the University of Waterloo and gained his professional accounting designation in Toronto. After moving to Arizona in 1993, he worked for a real estate developer before joining Russ Lyon in 1996.

Derek Zieder

Director of Technology

Derek Zieder currently serves as the Director of Technology at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. His role is pivotal in overseeing technology within the organization, a key component in the real estate business where technological integration is increasingly important. As an alumnus of Arizona State University, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various programming languages and development tools, including Java, TypeScript, and PHP, to his role. This includes the development and implementation of new systems, improving existing technological frameworks, and ensuring that the company stays at the forefront of technological advancements.

Carla Anaya

Director of Relocation

At Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty, Carla's role as Director of Relocation involves helping clients find homes that meet their needs and budgets, and providing support throughout the moving process. Her expertise is crucial in ensuring clients have a smooth transition into their new homes, delivering exceptional service.

Alexandra Baum

Director of Marketing

Alexandra Baum currently serves as the Director of Marketing at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. This position places her in a key role within the company's management team, where she is responsible for overseeing and implementing the marketing strategies of the organization. Alexandra's role is integral to the company's operations, especially in a dynamic and competitive real estate market.

Tom Newell

Director of Agent and Business Development

Tom Newell is the Director of Agent and Business Development at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. He brings over three decades of experience from First American Title, where he held various roles, including Senior Sales Executive. A graduate of Arizona State University, Newell is a long-time Arizona resident and a fan of local sports teams. In his role, he focuses on enhancing the skills of agents and improving the client experience at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty.

Bret Lamberson

Designated Broker

As the Designated Broker for Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, Bret Lamberson strives for high ethics and professionalism in the business. He expects his sales associates to work with integrity to provide the best service possible to their clients.
