The egg represents the energy of eternal life in all hypostases, including life and death. Thus reminding us that life does not end with physical existence. Judaism holds that the true world is in the spiritual worlds, and our world is the world of action and soul work, where each person is tested individually to fulfill… his or her mission.
Man is seen as a bridge between the spiritual world and the material world, in whose power to influence the entire universe as a whole.
Thus the egg represents the rebirth of man, in particular as a result of spiritual growth at different stages of his life. After going through a difficult period successfully, a person begins a new leaf, a new turn of the spiral, turning the experience into the inner power of the soul.

« The less evil an artist has, the more he is an artist. »
Hodaya Levin is an artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her abstract works explore existential questions relating to the meaning of life, our role in the universe, as well as death, and the concepts of good and evil. Levin employs archetypes and other cultural codes to aid her in the deciphering of the abstract messages of the soul. For her, art is an instrument of goodness which can change the world for the better.
