About the Sinha Clinic
The Sinha Clinic’s mission is to provide quality treatment through a caring and holistic perspective while offering comprehensive treatment tailored to our those looking to improve their mental health. The Sinha Clinic is located in St. Charles, Illinois and includes treating those looking to improve their mental health concerns in surrounding suburbs. We offer neuropsychiatry, medication management, telework for medication management, counseling, medication sensivitity testing, qEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback.
This clinic specializes in identifying “at risk” individuals and utilizing Neurophysiological approaches as a pathway to health. The means for achieving this goal includes testing and treatment. Quantitative EEG (QEEG) or Brain Mapping is a test shown to provide information about the brain’s functionality. Most importantly, brain mapping is also used for the purpose of determining psychiatric medication sensitivity in Referenced EEG testing. This is especially beneficial for those people who have tried and failed multiple medications and medication combinations. Retraining the brain through Neurofeedback treatments, an operant conditioning technique, is an effective therapy tool as a solo or collaborative treatment option with counseling techniques.
Dr. Shobha Sinha
Dr. Sinha is a licensed Physician and Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. My focus area is in Neuropsychiatry. This field focuses on the study and treatment of patients who present psychiatric symptoms and cognitive impairments due to neurological illness. I have also published articles in the area of traumatic brain injury along with supervising and training medical students, residents, and fellows at the University of Illinois, Chicago. I completed my residency training at the University of Illinois, Chicago in Psychiatry with additional specialization in Neuropsychiatry. I gained interest to specialize in the field of Neurofeedback during a study at UIC and completed coursework in EEG Neurofeedback training recommended by the BCIA.
My philosophy to patient treatment is to provide quality treatment in a caring manner from a holistic perspective. I offer comprehensive treatment through listening to the individual needs of the patient and their loved ones, thereby allowing the individual to make positive strides in their life. The most effective approach to treatment is one that is multidisciplinary. Neuropsychological testing, imaging, brain mapping coupled with novel approaches have yielded optimal results. EEG Neurofeedback addresses Neurophysiologic impairment in the brain. I believe that the patient’s functional issues must be addressed in order to change dysfunctional patterns or areas that may be otherwise ignored. Hence, therapy consists of individual and family therapy to address issues related to the family system and pivotal to recovery. Individual therapy often focuses on improving coping skills, social skills enhancement, play therapy, etc., based upon the one’s needs.

Isabella has been working with neurofeedback for over 2 years. She has
experience with working with patients from ages 5-60. She is currently
attending Midwestern Career College and is majoring in
Electroneurodiagnostic Technology.

Jennifer, Marketing Director
Jennifer has been our neurofeedback clinician supervisor, trainer, website designer and marketing manager. Jennifer has worked with the Sinha Clinic in a variety of aspects since 2014 and continues to manage marketing and website.
