Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide, manufactured by CSI, is an effective residential termiticide and insecticide against a broad-spectrum of lawn pests and termites around homes undergoing post-construction.
This non-staining termiticide and insecticide provides successful results against pests like fleas and mosquitoes for up to 12 weeks and up to 5 years for termites once applied.
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide is a fast-acting termiticide and insecticide for outdoor pest infestations, providing excellent pest control with a long-lasting residual.
Tools Needed
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide can be applied with a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or sprinkling can. If you are using this product as a trench solution against termites, then you will need a shovel to dig up the dirt and a sub-slab injection equipment to drill and inject the product.
Do not use household utensils to measure pesticides. If food utensils such as spoons or measuring cups have been used in the measuring of this product they must be discarded and not used for food purposes again.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To control termites as a perimeter trench treatment, measure the perimeter of your home in feet. Apply 4 gallons of emulsion of Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide per 10 linear feet per foot of depth. When using a tank sprayer like backpack sprayer against other home-invading pests, use 0.5 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water per 167 sq. ft. To treat home-invading pests with a hose-end sprayer, use 3.2 fl. oz. of product with 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: To mix in a standard tank sprayer equipment, fill it with half the amount of water. Add the measured amount of Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide and the rest of the water into the tank. Close the spray tank lid and agitate until well-mixed. For hose-end sprayers, set the dial to 0.5 fl. oz. then add the proper amount of product and spray to add water.
- Step 3: Spray the Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide evenly across the treatment area until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Avoid applications to ornamentals. To keep pests from entering the house perform a perimeter treatment by spraying 3 feet up the wall and 3-10 feet out on the ground. Allow the wood to dry and repeat to ensure the insecticide soaks into the wood. Treated wood can be burned or used for building one month after treatment.
Where to Use
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide can only be used for outdoor homeowner post-construction. For use around existing structures, not for pre-construction use.
Do not use inside dwellings nor on edible or ornamental plants.
When to Use
Use Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide when pests are first noticed and when rainfall is not expected to occur within 24 hours of application.
Safety Information
Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep children and pets off treated areas following application until the area has dried.
Special Considerations
Reapplication of Termite Killer 5 Termiticide and Insecticide for subterranean termites should only be made when there has been a disruption of the chemical barrier in the soil due to construction, excavation, landscaping, etc. Reapplication should be made as a spot treatment to those areas. Annual reapplication of the entire premises must be avoided.
