The expression: Entre nos
I was reading a response to the word of the day in which one of the respondents used the expression "entre nos." My first instinct was to correct this to read "entre nosotros," but then I remembered in the past having heard the original expression used by Spanish speakers of Mexican origin (for example, "Acá entre nos )."
Looking on the web, I also found that there is a Colombian film by the same name, and I was just wondering exactly how ubiquitous this expression is. Would this expression be used in Spain or is it only characteristic of certain varieties of "American" Spanish?

jaja, I used that expression on La Palabra del Día and I said it was an "idiom". Most of us say "entre nos" rather than "entre nosotros" here in my country, but, of course, it's incorrect and misspelled-
This was my response:
Hey, sobre lo que hicimos en el parque ... dejémoslo entre nos
Entre nos = Entre nosotros = Between us
Does seem odd since entre is one of those 6 special prepositions that takes a subject pronoun after it rather than a prepositional object pronoun. (of course, both are nosotros in this case).
Wow. I never would have realized that my mistake would cause so much controversial issues. Please remember I'm still learning and sometimes stupid. 
Entre nos, sounds perfectly incorrect to me, jeje.
This seems to be a special use, also heard in Argentina I think, I am calling Guillermo to the thread
I agree it seems weird, like a weird use of apocopation on a word where one wouldn't expect to find that.
I've heard it in Argentina but not often and in a very colloquial way though.
